The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) was established in 1971 as the primary drug enforcement agency with a clear and focused mandate – to keep Singapore safe from the harms of drugs and inhalants.

Our vision is a Singapore without drugs, where everyone can live, work and play safely.

We achieve this through our three-pronged stratgeies of enforce, educate and engage.

Enforce – We prevent the proliferation of drugs through the work of our officers in areas of intelligence, drug operations and investigations, guided by robust law and policy.

Educate – We educate the community on the harms of drugs and strengthen the resilience of youths to stay drug free.

Engage – We work actively with the local community to garner strong societal support to create a Singapore without drugs. We also work with like-minded international partners to uphold the international space for a zero tolerance approach against drug abuse.
